The apartment was spacious and adequately furnished. We loved being close to the train station, as when we got back after a long day of hiking, we didn't have far to go to rest our weary feet!
You are in the midst of everything, which we liked.

The location was right near town. Loved the view and layout of the rooms. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was great close to all amenities. Accommodation on one level was great for our family with children. Provision of washing machine and dryer was also very useful.

Proximity to the train station and supermarket

Liked how close it was to the train station and the view. The place was nicely decorated and comfy. We enjoyed using all the amenities.

The space was wonderful for the 4 of us ladies and so convenient for all the transportation modes. I would really like to come back again.

Einziger Wermutstropfen: benachbartes Hotel wird früh morgens lautstark beliefert.

Very pleasant experience for family of 6. Location is ideal, 5 minutes walk from Wengen station. Amenities all provided for, washing machine, dryer, dish washer, fully equipped kitchen...etc.... fully functional as per listing. No fuss check-in/out. No complaints. Convenience store (coop) located right below apartment. Would love to return again.

The apartment is beautiful, well equipped and in a fantastic location! Wengen is a quaint, yet beautiful town! The train rides in and out of town through the Lauterbrunnen Valley are absolutely breathtaking! The Jungfrau region is FULL of activities to do. You could spend a whole week here and only scratch the surface. Rachel is extremely helpful with activity planning and helping you organize your days. We cannot say enough about how helpful and pleasant Rachel was as a host! Would give six stars if possible!

I was traveling with a young toddler so it was a perfect location in terms of grocery store and station. Rachel was very good in communications and she helped us out of the way . She was a great host.

Great stay in the heart of Wengen. Really appreciated the easy, late-hour check in via key box.

The building was very quiet. We never saw any other tenants. The decor was tasteful, modern and clean. The master bedroom had an en-suite with washer which was very practical. There was also a dryer, but except for the first load, we could never get it to dry our clothes, so we used the drying rack. The other two couples shared the main bathroom. They did say the showerhead required you to stand oddly in the corner to get a proper rinsing, but everyone was fresh and clean, so it got the job done. The kitchen was beautiful and modern. We cooked meals in house every night. It had everything you could need. However, the nespresso machine required a complete cleaning before we could use it. Perhaps the host can ensure it is cycled clean between stays. That said, everything else was spotless and the apartment was lovely. The only caveat I can give others is that the apartment is not as private and does not have the great views that others in Wengen might have. To have unobstructed views of the glaciers you would have to walk a bit further and stay higherbelow the main town. What I wasn’t expecting from the pictures were the hundreds of excited passengers disembarking from the trains each 15 mins/half hour and walking on the bridge which is just a few feet away, and at the same level as the balcony, staring and some even taking pictures of the cute chalets. I also wasn’t expecting the spa which, again was at the same level as us, directly next door, with people sittinglaying in bathrobes and bathing suits. Not a big deal, but a bit odd. The master bedroom windows are also facing a close hill with switchback walking paths, so we never felt comfortable just leaving the windows open. We felt a bit in a fishbowl and would have to keep some of the blinds up. We appreciated the blinds that went from the bottom up. That said, what the apartment lacked in privacyviews, it made up for in convenience. It was super quick to run out for milkcroissants. And at the end of the day, tired from hiking, we often found ourselves grateful we didn’t have to hike a further 10 minutes to reach our apartment. It’s more about realistic expectations (do not expect sweeping views and privacy) than about being critical. One more suggestion is to have all written material in one spot. All the other Airbnb’s we stayed at had everything in one binder. This apartment had a binder, a book, and a couple laminated pages. I remembered searching for the exiting instructions and totally missed them. I apologize for missing the instructions. We promptly texted the host letting her know we left the keys in the apartment. Again, we really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Wengen/Mürren/Lauterbrunnen is unbelievably beautiful and we feel blessed to have been able to experience it. We all wish we could have stayed longer!

Location couldn't be better for convenience. A great apartment. Felt totally at ease here even with family of 5!!! I don't want to sing praises too much because I want there to be availablity when we come back!!!

Excellent location, right next to the train station with a Coop store across the road. Clean and well equipped with most things one would need on a holiday. We would love to return to this property.

Perfect area to stay at in Berner Oberland where we could view the mountains at different times of the day and different kinds of weather. Its so near the train station & its just a few steps from CoOp. I would definitely book this place again.

We have been in this apartment for the second time. In both years, the organisation was perfect, either you got the key during opening hours or, as we did this year, getting the keys in absence. It is a very modern apartment in which you find enough living space, replay TV, everything to cook (even the special Swiss stuff like Raclette and Fondue). There is even a big balcony with view to the station and to the village. The departure is easy as well, as you can just clean the apartment - you don't have to do laundry - and deposit the key in the keybox. All in all, it was a perfect stay in both years.
