The top quality Chalet is situated on a south facing ledge just 350 meters from the train station, main street and ski pistes. With 3 bedrooms (including gallery), two bathrooms and WC this 100-square meter Wengen apartment is extremely appealing for those looking for stylish comfort in a high-end chalet for 6-8 people.
Wengen is car limited and accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen.
The open plan living – dining – kitchen area opens out onto a west facing balcony with stunning panoramic views of the Jungfrau, Silberhorn, Breithorn, Lauterbrunnen valley and surrounding mountains; perfect for gathering after a day out with a comfortable sofa, 2 arm chairs and large dining space for entertaining or family meals.
Family friendly, this quirky Penthouse has a split level living-room with a tv room/snug with sofa bed located on the upper gallery which is reached via a wooden staircase. The gallery also offers a sleeping area with 2 single beds and a cloakroom.
The master bedroom with access to the west-facing balcony is furnished with a queen-sized bed (160x200cm), large wardrobe, dressing table and mirror and features an ensuite bathroom with bathtub. The second very generously sized bedroom offers two single beds (each 90x200 cm), wardrobe, drawers and arm chair with foot stool. A further shower room is situated between the two bedrooms.
The chalet also offers a small shared room for skis, snowboards and sledges as well as a cellar with private washing machine and dryer.

We loved chilling out on the balcony and enjoying the scenery. It is a short walk to the train station and we welcomed the peace and quiet of car-free Wengen. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and was well kitted out. We would happily recommend this lovely property and would love to return again.

The chalet was top notch and is difficult to fault. Well-furnished throughout with nice touches such as toiletries in the bathrooms. Kitchen is also well-equipped, it was enough to whip out meals during our stay.

There is also a private laundry room in the basement, with a washer and dryer. There is a slight uphill walk from the chalet heading into town, something to bear in mind for those with mobility issues. Complimentary shuttle service was very useful upon arrival and checkout, to transport luggages to the train station. Overall, we had an amazing experience with the chalet. We would definitely return! |

The beds were thick and sturdy and very comfortable, even the sofa bed. The loft beds were a source of fascination for the children. The kitchen was very well-stocked and the big dining table provided enough space for our group. The walk to the station was a little uphill in some parts but that was not a long stretch and it was doable even with luggage. There is a shortcut that we used subsequently which did not go through the village centre but went straight to the train station. Very easy to find. Communication with Rachel was easy and smooth and she was friendly and helpful on any queries we had. She even offered to help mail a bag I left behind to my country! It is my second stay with Alpine Holiday services now and I strongly recommend this apartment and their services to anybody staying in Wengen!
