    Description

    Enjoy your holiday in Wengen in this new first floor apartment in Panoramapark Soleil Chalet Alpenaster situated a 420 meter walk below the village center. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, extensive west facing balcony, open plan living, dining and kitchen area, this Wengen apartment is a trendy accommodation for 4-6 people.

    Enter from the road into a landscape of 6 wood-crafted Chalets and through an elegant marble hallway into the apartment, which greets you with an entrance area with hanging space and shoe racks. The chalets are situated in the car limited village of Wengen which is accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen,

    The open plan living, dining and kitchen area are surrounded by floor to ceiling doors, which open out onto the extensive balcony with dining for 6, deckchairs and views of the Jungfrau, Silberhorn, Lobhorn and surrounding mountains.

    The master bedroom with state of the art ensuite shower room is equipped with high quality Swiss made Kingsize double (180 x 200 cm) whilst the second bedroom offers 2 high quality Swiss made singles (90 x 200cm) or Kingsize double (180 x 200 cm). A further family size bathroom is located off the entrance hall.

    A private cellar unit houses the washing machine and dryer as well as providing useful storage space for your unpacked suitcases etc.

    Furthermore the Chalet also offers complimentary heated ski, snowboards and boot lockers at Central Sport's Ski Depot just next to the cable car.

    A private elevator takes you from the Panoramapark Soleil complex up the mountain towards the village and shortens the walk into town to just over 400 meters.

The unit was a little smaller than it looked in the photos , but clean, easy to access for a late check-in, and situated in one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever visited. (Note that even though it looks like an upper-floor unit, it is on the first floor which I typically avoid. But I would definitely stay here again even though it’s on the first floor. ) We loved the tinkling bells around the necks of the very small herd of sheep off the back porch. It felt like we were living in a terrific modern apartment but surrounded by traditional beauty. We loved taking the train to and from Lauterbrunnen to get to Wengen. We also loved paragliding over the Lauterbrunnen Valley with Airtime Paragliding, an unexpected but completely fabulous splurge. The souvenir items for sale in the larger Wengen souvenir shop were prettier and similarly priced to those in Interlaken. Skip the crowds and stay and shop in Wengen. I wish we could have stayed another week. Glorious surroundings!

Host provided clean towels & bedsheets. Chalet was as good as any 4 star property.       This luxury Penthouse in Chalet Aberot is considered one of the best apartments in Wengen with stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen valley, famous Jungfrau peak and surrounding mountains. The chalet was built in 2013 in a traditional style to a very high standard and is located on a south facing ledge just below the village and a 350-meter walk from the train station, village mainstreet and ski slopes. The village is car free and only accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen.

      The apartment with open concept living, 2 double bedrooms, a 3rd gallery bedroom and 2 shower rooms comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. The master bedroom with access to the west-facing balcony is lavish and features classic style windows, a 200x200 cm double bed and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. The second bedroom offers 2 single beds and the open gallery bedroom has a queensize double (160x200cm). There is a second bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. The upper gallery space is accessed via a pull down wooden stairway.

      Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors, traditional wooden beams and high-quality furnishings make this Alpine holiday retreat impressive. Two classical style sofas are central to the living space and the dining space with large glass table and designer chairs is nearest the west facing balcony and is great for entertaining or family meals.

      The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, steamer, kettle, toaster and the all-important fondue set.

      This apartment in Wengen also has a washing machine and tumble dryer in the in the basement room for the private use of guests and a small shared lock up room for skis, snowboards and sledges.

      The chalet is located in the car limited village of Wengen, accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen.

      The characterful and spacious open plan living-dining-kitchen is an interesting fusion of Swiss contemporary and traditional chalet style with its wooden beams and high ceilings. Floor to ceiling panoramic windows and doors open out onto well-furnished balconies on opposite sides. After the sunset, sip a hot chocolate by the flickering light of the unique feature fireplace.

      As the perfect day draws to a close, three bedrooms await you below on the second floor.
